(x² + x + 1)*(x² + x) = 156
x^4 + 2x³ + 2x² + x - 156 = 0
156 = 2²*3*13 ----> Os 24 divisores racionais de 156 podem ser: + - 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, 13, 26, 39, 52, 78, 156.
As prováveis raízes racionais serão inteiras e estarão compreendidas nestes divisores.
Facilmente se vê que x = +3 e x = -4 são raízes
x^4 + 2x³ + 2x² + x - 156 = (x - 3)*(x + 4)*(x² + ax + b)
x^4 + 2x³ + 2x² + x - 156 = (x² + x - 12)*(x² + ax + b)
x^4 + 2x³ + 2x² + x - 156 = x^4 + (a + 1)x³ + (a + b - 12)x² + (b - 12a)x - 12b
12b = 156 ----> b = 13
a + 1 = 2 -----> a = 1
x² + ax + b = x² + x + 13 = 0 ----> Bhaskara -----> x = - 1/2 + i*V51/2 e x = - 1/2 - iV51/2
As outras duas raíses são complexas.
A soma das raízes vale ----> S = 3 - 4 + (-1/2 + i*V51/2) + (- 1/2 + i*V51/2) -----> S = - 2
